Chagall - Mystic Magician of Colors

In March 2018, Haedenn Museum will host a special exhibition, "Chagall - The Mysterious Magician of Enchanting Colors," in celebration of its 5th anniversary since opening.

The exhibition will showcase four original works by Chagall (Gouache, Monotype, Pastel/Tempura, Gouache/Oil), 53 prints, and two illustrated books planned and produced by Chagall, all being unveiled for the first time in Korea. To commemorate the museum's 5th anniversary, these special pieces, never before revealed by the Haeden Museum, prominently feature the subjects Chagall enjoyed depicting. They depict memories from Chagall's hometown of Vitebsk and the second city he loved, Paris. Additionally, the exhibition beautifully unfolds Chagall's favorite themes drawn from the Bible, mythology, and classical literature, creating a harmonious ble
